The honest version of a careers page: what working here is like, and the truth about openings.
inrelay is built by a tiny team with a specific belief: support software should feel like a warm, tidy room, not a fluorescent dashboard. We call it cozy software — an inbox that works itself down quietly while the human stays in charge of every word that goes out. If that sentence made you feel something, you’re the kind of person this page is for.
Small means small. There are no departments to hand things to. The person who designs an empty state ships it, watches it land, and answers the support email about it. We argue about typography and latency with equal seriousness, we write the changelog like people will actually read it, and we’d rather cut a feature than ship a noisy one. You can read what we believe on the about page — the product is the culture deck.
What we won’t do is perform. No stock photos of laughing meetings, no values poster, no “we’re a family.” We’re a workshop. The work is interesting, the pace is humane, and the bar for what ships is high.
Because the team is tiny and we intend to stay deliberate about growing it, open roles are genuinely rare. When one exists, it will be listed on this page with a real description — not an evergreen posting we keep up to collect resumes.
Right now, there are no openings.
But if the cozy-software idea got under your skin and you make things with care — write to us anyway. Show us something you built and tell us what you’d make better about inrelay. We read every one, and when a role opens, those notes are the first place we look.
