DM management for creators who’d rather be creating

It’s midnight, the unread count is still climbing, and every channel is you. inrelay moves that load into one queue — starting with the channels that are live today.

DM channels shipping soon
The short answer

DM management for creators means one queue for every message a creator’s audience and customers send — with owners, drafts and help that doesn’t need your passwords. inrelay ships the foundation today: email, live chat, a knowledge base and an AI agent whose drafts a human approves. Instagram and TikTok DM channels are in development, marked plainly.

Selling as a creator means the inbox never closes. Collab pitches and order questions land in email, sizing questions land in comments, “did my order ship” lands in DMs — and all of it lands on you, because the accounts are yours and the voice is yours. Hiring help usually means handing someone your logins and hoping, which is why most creators never do.

The honest version of this page: the DM channels you probably came here for are not shipped yet. What is shipped is everything underneath them — the queue, the ownership, the voice-matched drafts, the approval gate — on email and live chat today. Move that load now; the DMs join the same queue when they land, and not a day before we can say so truthfully.

01 · The requirements

What creators actually need

Not another app to check. The job is getting messages off your phone and off your mind, without losing the voice that built the audience.

  • An inbox that isn’t your phone at midnight. A queue with owners and statuses, so “unread” stops being a feeling you carry to bed.
  • Replies that sound like you. Your audience can smell a template. Drafts have to carry your actual voice — and nothing should ever send as you without you seeing it.
  • Help without handing over your accounts. A VA, a manager or a partner should be able to work the queue from their own login — your passwords stay yours.
  • Answer the repeat questions once. Sizing, shipping, “what preset is this” — the same five questions deserve one written answer people can find themselves.
  • Knowing what actually needs you. A brand deal buried under order questions is money lost. The queue should separate “only you can answer this” from everything else.
02 · The fit

How inrelay meets each one — today.

Everything in this map is live now, on email and live chat. Nothing here waits on the DM channels.

What you need
How inrelay meets it
An inbox that isn’t your phone at midnight
Business email and site chat land in one queue with statuses — new, needs reply, waiting — worked from the desktop app or the mobile companion when you choose to, not because a badge demanded it.
Replies that sound like you
The AI agent drafts replies in your voice on every plan — including Free — learned from how you actually write. Every draft waits for your approval — nothing ever ships as you without you.
Help without handing over your accounts
Teammates get their own logins and see only the shared workspace. Assignment, internal notes and collision detection replace the shared-password arrangement entirely — and on the flat Team plan, teammates are never priced.
Answer the repeat questions once
A knowledge base on your own domain holds sizing, shipping and FAQ answers; the chat widget on your storefront or link-in-bio site serves them before a message is ever sent.
Knowing what actually needs you
Triage tags each message’s intent — collab, order, fan mail — and routes it: order questions to your VA’s queue, brand deals straight to you, with a morning brief instead of an unread count.
03 · A launch weekend

One drop, without the midnight shift

A realistic weekend on the channels that are live today — a creator, a part-time VA, one queue.

Saturday: the drop goes live

Order questions start hitting your business email and the chat widget on your store. The agent reads each one, tags the intent and writes a draft in your voice while you’re filming, not refreshing.

Sunday: your VA works the queue, not your accounts

From her own login, she approves the drafted answers to shipping and sizing questions — most just need a glance — and drops a note on the one asking about a custom order. Your passwords never left you.

The brand email finds you, not the pile

A collab pitch lands mid-weekend. Triage routes it straight to your queue with a draft reply ready — warm, in your tone, asking the right questions — and you approve it from your phone between takes.

Monday: a brief, not a backlog

The morning brief shows what was handled and the few conversations that genuinely need you. The unread count you used to fall asleep to is now a list you finish with coffee.

04 · The channels

The channels that matter here.

Two are live. The DM channels are in development — linked so you can see exactly what’s coming, marked so you can’t mistake them for shipped.

Channel status as of August 2026. If you sell mostly through a storefront, the ecommerce & DTC page covers that shape of the load; the solutions index lists every vertical, including Shopify stores.

Creator questions.

When do the Instagram and TikTok DM channels ship?
They’re in development now, and we don’t publish dates we’d have to walk back. Each channel launches when the full inbox works on it — assignment, notes, drafts, the approval gate — and the changelog announces it first. If DM management for creators is the thing you’re waiting on, tell us and we’ll reach out for early access.
What can I actually use today?
Email and live chat as full channels, the knowledge base on your own domain, triage and routing, and the AI agent’s voice-matched drafts with the approval gate — on desktop and mobile. Everything on this page outside the “in development” cards is live.
Will the AI talk to my followers as me?
It drafts as you; it never sends as you. Every reply waits for a human — you or someone you’ve invited — to approve it. Your voice is the asset, so the approval gate is not optional and not buried in a setting.
Can my VA or manager help without my passwords?
Yes — that’s the point. They get their own login to the shared workspace, with assignment and notes instead of account access. Inviting your first teammate is what the Team plan is for: a flat $79 a month, and teammates are never priced — so help never changes the bill. Details on the pricing page.
