One queue

The omnichannel inbox, honestly scoped

Every channel lands in the same queue with the same owner, the same notes, the same agent. Here's what's live today — and what's genuinely next.

What this covers

An omnichannel inbox puts every support channel — email, live chat, and eventually social DMs — into one queue a team owns together. inrelay ships email and live chat today; social and messaging channels are in development and marked plainly below, not sold as live.

The honest roadmap

In development.

The social-first half of the product — listed when it ships, not before.

Channel status as of August 2026 — the changelog records each launch.

The coverage rule

How to think about channel coverage

The trap in this category is the checkbox grid: vendors list every channel an API exists for, and you discover post-purchase which ones are a webhook in a trench coat. Our rule is the opposite — a channel appears on this page when the full inbox works on it: assignment, internal notes, collision detection, the agent's drafts and the approval gate. Two channels that genuinely work beat seven that half do.

If the channel you need is in the development list, that's a real signal to weigh — tell us and we'll tell you honestly where it sits.

Channel questions.

Do all channels share one inbox?
Yes — one queue, one owner per conversation, the same notes and drafts regardless of where the customer wrote from. That's the definition of the product.
How are channels priced?
Channels aren't priced individually. Plans meter volume: tickets (email) and conversations (chat), flat per account — never per seat.
When do the social channels arrive?
When they pass the full-inbox bar above. We don't publish dates we'd have to walk back; the changelog is where launches appear first.
